As some of you are no doubt aware, it has been quite awhile since Maian Events was last updated.
A number of factors contributed to this which we won't go into detail about here. Suffice to say development took a backseat to
more urgent and important matters and the project kind of got abandoned.
An updated version of Maian Events is in development and will surface as soon as possible, so this brief message is
just to let you know this project has not been abandoned. The Maian Media infrastructure is also being updated with a new backend
interface, which is contributing to the delay of the latest version of this software.
